Signature 5-Day Intensive Massage Training | Bradford, West Yorkshire

Everything you need to become a genuinely skilled, confident, and practising massage therapist.

Most massage courses teach you a sequence. This one teaches you to think, adapt, and work with whoever walks through the door — whatever they're carrying, wherever it lives in their body, however long they've had it.

The Signature 5-Day Intensive is the complete LuceZen training experience. Five full days of hands-on, integrated bodywork covering massage foundations, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, hot stone, and Indian Head Massage — taught together, in sequence, so that each day builds on the last and everything connects.

No prior experience required. You will leave ready to work.

This Is Not Just a Massage Course

I built this intensive because I was frustrated by what most massage training produces. Therapists who know a routine but don't know what to do when a client presents with chronic pain, or scar tissue, or a body that won't release. Therapists who finish a course and still don't feel confident.

That is not what I trained for. And it is not what I teach.

I am a qualified sports therapist and advanced massage therapist with years of clinical experience across deep tissue, sports massage, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, hot stone, and more. I trained in India in the authentic Ayurvedic tradition. I have worked with chronic pain clients, post-surgery clients, people carrying tension that nothing else had reached. I have studied fascia — the connective tissue that runs through the entire body — and the way it holds physical, emotional, and energetic patterns that only skilled, intentional touch can begin to release.

Every single thing I have learned over my career goes into this five-day course. When you train with me, you are not learning from a manual. You are learning from someone who does this every day and cares deeply about producing therapists who are genuinely good at it.

As I say to every student I train: I want you to leave knowing what to do when someone walks in carrying pain, tension, or stress in their body — not just how to follow a sequence.

What You Will Learn Across the Five Days

Days 1 & 2 — Foundations of Massage

This is where everything begins. Not a rushed overview — a proper, thorough grounding in massage technique, body awareness, and how to give a treatment that actually helps.

  • Full body massage technique and flow

  • Anatomy and physiology for the working therapist

  • The muscular system and how it responds to touch

  • Body mechanics, posture, and self-care as a therapist

  • Client consultation, contraindications, and aftercare

  • Introduction to fascial awareness

Myofascial awareness is woven in from the very first session, because understanding fascia changes how you touch from day one.

Day 3 — Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue is not about using more force. It is about precision, patience, and understanding how deeper layers of muscle and fascia actually respond. As a qualified sports therapist, I teach you the same tools and clinical principles used in sports therapy — not just heavier pressure and a harder routine.

  • True deep tissue principles — why pressure alone is never enough

  • Forearm and elbow technique for safe, sustainable deep work

  • Working with chronic tension and pain patterns

  • Advanced contraindications for deep tissue work

  • Client communication around pressure and discomfort

Most deep tissue training teaches you to press harder and call it deep. This day teaches you what it actually means — and how to apply it in a way that produces results.

Day 4 — Lymphatic Drainage Massage

One of the most sought-after and highest-earning skills in massage therapy. The lymphatic system has no pump of its own — it relies on skilled manual stimulation to keep flowing. When it's sluggish, the body holds onto fluid, toxins, and fatigue. When it's working, the difference is remarkable.

  • Manual lymphatic drainage technique, rhythm, and pressure

  • Brazilian sculpting method for body contouring

  • Lymphatic facial massage for drainage and definition

  • Lymphatic system anatomy in depth

  • Combining MLD with broader bodywork

The demand for lymphatic work is growing rapidly. Clients come asking for it specifically — and trained therapists who can deliver it properly are exactly what the market needs more of.

Day 5 — Hot Stone, Indian Head Massage & Assessment

Two deeply therapeutic treatments and the day that brings everything together.

Heat changes what is possible in massage. Stones used actively — not just placed — penetrate the deeper layers of muscle, soften fascia, and create release that hands alone cannot achieve. For clients with chronic tension and pain, the transformation can be extraordinary.

Indian Head Massage I did not learn from a manual. I learned it in India, in the authentic Ayurvedic tradition it comes from — and that is exactly how I teach it. This is not a Westernised version stripped of its roots. It is the real thing, with its lineage, its principles, and its depth intact.

  • Hot stone technique and heat safety

  • Indian Head Massage — Ayurvedic tradition taught from the source

  • Reading the body and adapting in real time

  • Building a treatment plan for different client needs

  • Confidence building and professional practice

  • Final assessment and certificate presentation
